Financing Process

BPF develops and deploys its own de-novo projects, however we primarily partner with co-developers to assist getting projects across the finish line. We know that no two projects are the same and we tailor our approach to meet each partner's needs. From mid-sized C&I to utility-scale assets, we customize our particular solution to meet a project needs.

Stage One

Development, Structuring, and Financing Process

Because we recognize that the needs of an operating-stage project and a development-stage project are very different, Blue Planet approaches each step in the evolution of a project with different financing solutions and unique structures.
Stage Two


On the equipment side, BPF works with all Tier-1 providers. Our engineering team has decades of experience in selection of the best equipment.

Our integrated approach and in-house engineering allows us to reduce costs and help maximize project potential, avoiding excessive back-and-forth’s leakage of time and money.

We partner with top construction/EPC companies to construct and deliver our projects without the standard 'engineering risk' that sometimes accompanies technical projects.
Stage Three

Operations and Long-term Ownership

Our team has extensive experience operating and owning renewable energy systems.

To maximize operations performance we have developed a specialized web-based platform for portfolio management. This platform allows for data across multiple platforms to be incorporated in a consistent fashion and format, using multiple data inputs. This allows our asset managers to keep a good handle on data and information to optimize performance.

This focus helps to ensure O&M compliance, reporting to 3rd party partners and billing/performance compliance in a consistent and managed fashion.
